ATREYU Guitarist Launches 'Classic Rock Shirt' Clothing Line

October 16, 2007

ATREYU guitarist Dan Jacobs has launched his own clothing line, Rokk Clothing, which aims to "bring alive the classic rock shirt of today." All are original authentic designs, inspired by Dan and executed by his brother Joe exclusive to the Rokk Clothing brand. The range also features Japanese style headbands, like the ones Dan wears during ATREYU's performances.

An avid fan of Eighties rock, Dan would scour the Internet to find vintage t-shirts. One day, in conversation with Joe, they got to thinking about how much these t-shirts cost and surely there must be a less expensive way to produce them. Dan had a very definite idea of the design, fabric, fit he wanted and together with Joe's business skills they have put together their first range.

Says Dan: "I wanted to design my own brand because I wanted to produce the kind of t-shirt I would buy, at a reasonable price. These 'Ts' had to look like real Eighties stuff, classic rock band t-shirts in bold primary colors and design — they've got to look so good that at first glance you'd think it was the real thing."

The capsule range of Rokk Clothing was launched on October 1, 2007. Joe Jacobs says, "We have been really encouraged by initial sales and the excitement the range is generating. Orders have been received from all over the United States as well as from the United Kingdom, Austria, Germany and Italy."
